If your computer has the original installation of a Microsoft Windows© product family Operating System on it, it is very important that you have a COA (Certificate of Authenticity) attached if we are formatting the machine. Older and custom machines typically do not have COA‘s. We do not make exceptions. Please do not ask.
Typically if we know that it is ok to format AHEAD of time, it will save you ALOT of money. Just be aware that a format involves cleaning EVERYTHING off of the hard drive and starting new. That means that your data will be lost, unless you want us to back it up, or you have already backed it up yourself.
We do not backup applications, we back up the data they produce. You will need your original installation program discs to accomplish that.
Unless requested, we are not responsible for lost data.
